Drilling Altair license
Further to the announcement made on 31 January 2017, regarding the commencement of drilling on the Altair licence, we had planned to commence drilling on 20 February 2017 but unfortunately the local community blocked access to the road to the Turaco well location. The company has been working closely with the Minister of Interior, the ANH and local authorities to resolve this situation.
We have now succeeded in reaching agreement with the local community to access the site. The rig has been mobilised and is on site with drilling expected to commence on 8 March.
