In developing our focus in West Africa and particularly in Angola, InterOil has hired Antonio Pedro Duarte Paulo as General Manager in Angola. Mr. Paulo has extensive background from the oil industry and has spent most of his career with Chevron International Oil Company. He has spent many years in Angola with Chevron and his last posting was as country manager for Chevron in Brazil. In the context of our growing activity in Angola, InterOil has now established an office in Luanda, where Mr. Paulo will be stationed.
State Oil Company in Angola, Sonangol, announced in December 2007 that InterOil E&P ASA (IOX) is pre-qualified for Operator in the upcoming license round in Angola.
