Oslo, 24 July 2019 - Interoil Exploration and Production ASA (Interoil) is pleased to confirm that the company has paid interest related to the bond issued on January 2015. The amount paid was USD 1,123,062.48.
The USD 37.5 million bond matures in January 2020. The company does not now hold the required liquidity to repay it. The company continues discussion with the bondholders on several alternatives. Whereas no final decision or agreement have been reached at this stage the company is confident that a sound solution will be reached.
